Cosmetorium 2025, the benchmark trade show for the cosmetics industry in Spain, has closed its ninth edition with record figures and an atmosphere of innovation that confirms its leadership in the sector. During October 22 and 23, more than 3,500 professionals participated in conferences, workshops, and networking activities, while more than 140 exhibiting companies showcased their latest solutions in raw materials, technologies, services, and packaging.

This edition of the fair was marked by a change of venue, which has boosted its growth to offer more than 7,000 m² of exhibition space. "This year we faced the challenge of moving the fair to a new venue, and the transition has been very smooth. The response from exhibitors and visitors demonstrates the sector's capacity to innovate and grow, without losing the essence that makes Cosmetorium an essential point of reference for the industry," said José Zaragozano, in charge of the organization by Step Exhibitions Iberia.

Epicenter of Innovation in Cosmetic Science

Over these two days, Cosmetorium established itself as the epicenter of innovation in cosmetic science, with a comprehensive program of conferences, workshops, and activities that addressed the main challenges and trends in the sector. Highlights included advanced biotechnology applied to ingredient development, artificial intelligence in formulation, neurocosmetics, new-generation photoprotection, sustainability, and the new regulations that will shape the future of the industry.

The scientific program included the participation of renowned experts such as Josep M. Ganyet, Dr. Manel Esteller, and Professor David Bueno, whose presentations sparked an interesting debate around artificial intelligence, the secrets of human longevity, and the positive influence of art on brain development.

Within the framework of the fair, the Innovatorium area stood out as one of the most representative spaces of this innovative spirit, showcasing the most disruptive advances in formulation.

Cosmetorium Awards: Inclusivity and Personalization

One of the highlights of the fair was the Cosmetorium Awards ceremony. This year's edition focused on the value of inclusivity and personalization in cosmetic formulation.

The award-winning formulas were distinguished by their innovative approach and their ability to adapt to the unique needs of each skin type, reflecting the advance towards smarter and more diverse cosmetics.
