Regeneration will be the central theme of the next edition of COSMETIC 360, the international innovation fair organized by Cosmetic Valley, which will be held on October 14 and 15 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Under the slogan "Regenerations: Act for Positive Impact", the event will bring together companies, researchers and industry professionals to explore how this concept integrates into the future of beauty.
Regeneration is proposed and positioned in our sector as a new way of understanding cosmetic innovation. The objective is to, first and foremost, reduce the environmental impact of the industry, but also to restore, repair and revitalize, both the skin and the natural resources used to develop the products.
From sustainability to regeneration
If in recent years the conversation has revolved around sustainability and the circular economy, COSMETIC 360 believes that the next step will be regenerative beauty. An approach that ranges from ingredients obtained through regenerative agriculture or biotechnology to new materials, packaging and industrial processes capable of generating a positive impact.
This year's edition will pay special attention to ingredients with the capacity to promote skin repair, formulations inspired by the body's natural processes, new solutions for reusing materials and tools that allow measuring the true regenerative impact of products.
A showcase for global innovation
Organized by Cosmetic Valley, the main French perfumery and cosmetics cluster, the event will bring together around 260 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, including Spain, South Korea, Japan, the United States, Italy and the United Kingdom. As every year, the fair will serve as a platform to present the innovations that will mark the future of the sector and foster meetings between brands, suppliers, technology centers and startups.
A trend gaining strength throughout the industry
The choice of regeneration as the main theme is not accidental. In recent months, the concept has gained increasing prominence both in the development of new ingredients and in cosmetic research and packaging innovation. The rise of active ingredients capable of stimulating skin regeneration, the growth of biotechnology, and the interest in raw materials obtained through regenerative practices reflect a paradigm shift that is beginning to spread throughout the entire value chain.
COSMETIC 360 anticipates one of the conversations that will likely dominate the cosmetic industry in the coming years: how to develop products that not only minimize their impact but actively contribute to regenerating the skin and the environment.
