On the occasion of World Health Day on 7 April, Cantabria Labs, a Spanish pharmaceutical laboratory, wanted to take the opportunity to show once again its commitment and objective of caring for and improving people's health and quality of life through science and innovation

Cantabria Labs, which works in line with the UN's 12 Sustainable Development Goals. Among them are the 3 Health and Wellbeing Goals. For this reason, it promotes and seeks the wellbeing of everyone at any age. In this sense, the pharmaceutical laboratory collaborates with different projects and initiatives so that with research, development, awareness and prevention we can all celebrate life. Therefore, in June 2022, Cantabria Labs presented its "Celebrate life Manifesto" with the aim of improving the quality and health of people in order to celebrate life.

Innovation is one of its fundamental pillars and main strengths. The Spanish pharmaceutical laboratory looks to health science for innovative solutions to present and future problems that enable people to achieve the best version of themselves, always with the highest standards of quality and scientific endorsement. To this end, it allocates more than 12% of its investment to its R&D&I centres, where it develops its own active ingredients and natural ingredients and manufactures an average of more than 300 prototypes per year.

Today, Cantabria Labs' patented technologies and proprietary raw materials have enabled them to become leaders in dermatological prescriptions in Spain, Italy and Portugal. In the eco-sustainable innovation and production centre of La Concha, in Cantabria, they have a space of more than 500m2 for the treatment and optimisation of some of them such as Fernblock®, SCA®, AM3® and EDAFENCE®.

In addition, in its commitment to caring for health and improving people's quality of life, it also has the support of the sportsman and company ambassador, Rafa Nadal, to help promote healthy habits. Cantabria Labs has been working for more than 30 years on prevention and health care with its research and awareness-raising projects, which have an impact on more than 10,000 people every year with its initiatives aimed at young people.
