Cantabria Labs creates new laboratory in Kenia

Cantabria Labs has opened a new laboratory in Kenya. Specifically, it has been established in Turkana and is an action that is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility project: Saints Cosmes & Damian Derma Nariokotome Mission. 

This new dermatological laboratory will be dedicated to the manufacture of dermatological creams, moisturisers and soaps for personal hygiene. 

Antonio Matju de Arroquia, member of the board of Cantabria Labs was present in the Kenyan town during the inauguration of the new laboratory and explained that this is a new opportunity to continue helping those in need: "It is impressive to see the strength, commitment and enthusiasm of the Turkish people".

The Cantabrian pharmaceutical and cosmetics company has been collaborating with the Emalaikat Foundation for thirty years and has collaborated and participated in the construction of more than 300 wells and dams that have supplied water to the local population and have also contributed to the education of more than 2,500 children, as well as providing health care to nearly a hundred communities in Turkana.
