The Digital Beauty Awards 2022 already have finalists

Today, 22 June, we can say that already they know the finalists that will participate in the next Digital Beauty Awards on 22 September in Barcelona. After more than 300 candidatures received, the past 21 June the jury chose to the best candidates, pertinent of more than 50 companies of the sector.

The DBA, promoted by the elder clúster of cosmetic, perfumery and Spanish care, the Beauty Cluster rewards to the best professionals, companies and initiatives in matter of digitalisation and e-commerce in Spain. Although already they know the candidates to be rewarded, the winners will not know until it celebrate the event: 22 September in the House Milà (The Pedrera).

The candidatures chosen by the jury are the following:

  • BETTER DIGITAL MARK: For that mark of cosmetic, perfumery or personal care that have distinguished by an excellent work in the digital field.

  • BETTER DIGITAL DIRECTOR: For that professional that has stood out by his impulse of the digitalisation of his organisation or of the sector beauty in general.

  • BETTER STARTUP DIGITAL OF THE SECTOR: For that new company with less than 3 years of antiguedad that have projected by his activity, innovative capacity, technology or development in the digital field in any part of the chain of value of the sector of the cosmetic and perfumery..

This will be the second edition of the prizes, and Iván Borrego, director of the Beauty Cluster and of the DBA affirms that it receives it with a lot of illusion and with big expectations because of the high volume of candidatures received: "we Face this second edition with an enormous expectation by part of all the Spanish industry of the beauty. We have received an enormous quantity of candidatures what shows the glorious work that the sector has done and goes on doing in the digital transformation of all his processes. Our prizes have converted already in an annual meeting point and a referent for all the professionals of cosmetic and perfumery interested in the digitalisation and the e-commerce. This year, besides, we have incorporated new categories to reward the digital innovation in retail and the innovations that contribute to the sustainability of the sector."

In what it does reference to the jury, have big professionals in the sector of the digitalisation, in the e-commerce, marketing and in the communication of the sector of beauty. This year it will debut like expert of digitalisation José Carlos Cortizo (Product Hackers), in the sector of the beauty will do it Josep Alborquers (Julia Perfumeria Family Office) or Gabriel Federici (Mintel). In the field of the media will be Silvia Martín (The Avant-garde) and Jaime of Haro of (IP Mark). Also between the jury have members honoríficos after his triumphs in the gala of 2021.

Like novelty, in addition to the gala of prizes the Beauty Cluster organises the same day, previous to the DBA, the Digital Beauty Summit, that is the first forum of knowledge, experiences and exclusive innovation on e-commerce and digital transformation in the Spanish industry of the beauty. In this Summit will find invited and speakers of first level, with apt surroundings for the debate, share and connect with other professionals on innovation técnologica and digital.
