AITEX is once again committed to business excellence with the VII edition of its Business Awards, an initiative that has established itself as a national benchmark in the promotion of innovation and sustainability. This year, with a total endowment of 100,000 euros, the contest once again focuses on the cosmetic sector, one of the most dynamic and transformative in the current industry.
Cosmetics with purpose: innovation and sustainability as cornerstones
The category of AITEX Award for Innovation and/or Sustainability in Cosmetics is aimed at companies that have developed products, processes or business models that stand out for their innovative nature and their environmental commitment. From formulas with natural ingredients to biodegradable packaging, through clean technologies or circular economy models, all proposals that promote a positive change in the sector are welcome.
The awards are distributed as follows:
- 🥇 1st Prize: €20,000
- 🥈 2nd Prize: €10,000
- 🥉 3rd Prize: €5,000
Who can participate?
All companies in the cosmetic field with headquarters in Spain may submit their candidacy. The projects must be completed and have been recently developed. Proposals in the ideation phase or those that do not meet the documentation requirements will not be accepted.
To participate, companies must submit:
- A project report that includes:
- Value proposition and objectives
- Degree of innovation and results obtained
- Environmental and socioeconomic impact
- Employability, collaborations, intellectual property, etc.
- Company logo
- Corporate video of the project or the company

Two more categories to reward business excellence
Although the focus of this article is on cosmetics, the AITEX 2025 Awards also recognize innovation in other key sectors:
AITEX Award for Innovation and/or Sustainability in Textiles
Aimed at companies in the textile sector that are developing sustainable solutions, new materials, more efficient manufacturing processes or products with high added value. A recognition of the transformation of a traditional industry towards a more responsible and competitive model.
AITEX Award for the Best Entrepreneurial Initiative
Designed for startups and young companies from any sector that are revolutionizing the market with disruptive ideas. This award seeks to promote emerging talent and support business models with high growth potential. Startups that have been established between 2022 and 2024 can apply.

Winning an AITEX Award not only means an economic boost, but also a prestigious recognition in the business ecosystem. The awarded companies obtain visibility in the media, presence at the awards gala and access to a network of key contacts in the textile, cosmetic and technological sectors.
