The Mexican subsidiary of Univar Solutions will be in charge of the exclusive distribution of dsm-firmenich products. The news was announced in a press release from the distributor in their newsroom in which they were very pleased to have signed the distribution agreement.
James Peterson, global vice president of beauty and care at Univar Solutions said they are happy to have made this agreement and praised the innovative products from dsm-firmenich that are now added to their portfolio: "Both Univar Solutions and dsm-firmenich focus on ingredients, formulations and further diversify our portfolio and our products". Jorge Buckup, president of Latin America for Univar Solutions said that this agreement is very fruitful for both parties as Univar already has strong ties with suppliers in North America and Europe.
On behalf of dsm-firmenich, Guilherme Dias, regional director of personal care for the Latin America region added that this agreement helps to improve areas such as efficiency, technical acumen and digitalisation. Dias looks forward to a successful and ongoing partnership.
dsm-firmenich continues to grow by leaps and bounds. In July, the Swiss-Dutch innovator in the fields of nutrition, health and beauty made it official that it had completed the acquisition of Adara Biome, a pioneer in the development and manufacture of postbiotics, after announcing in April 2023 that negotiations had begun.
