The owners of Caudalie have decided to invest in Skin and Out. Skin Out is also a French company, a startup founded in 2020 by two sisters in search of a solution for acne. Now, Caudalie, one of the most successful cosmetic brands on social media, has decided to make an investment and buy a part of the company for 1.5 million euros.

As reported by various specialised media in the cosmetics and beauty sector, this move by Caudalie aims to maximise the brand's presence in the retail channel, especially in the pharmacy channel, and to develop new products. The founders of Caudalie explained that they hope to help the brand founded in 2020 to continue to grow and underlined their desire to support the emergence of a dynamic ecosystem of talented women in the cosmetics sector. The company in which they have invested, Skin and Out, have closed their financial year of the past 2023 with a turnover exceeding the €1 million threshold.

Last year, in May, Caudalie founders Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas also invested in a French facial care startup, Talm.
