Symrise acquires French fragrance house Floral Concept

The German giant has acquired 100% of Floral Concept's capital to expand its portfolio and expertise in the sourcing and manufacturing of natural ingredients

Syrmise acquires the French fragrance house Floral Concept. It is a company located in Saint-Cezaire-sur-Siagne in the Pays de Grasse region and specializes in natural ingredients. 

The German giant has acquired 100% of Floral Concept's capital to expand its portfolio and expertise in the sourcing and manufacturing of natural ingredients. 

The deal is expected to close by September, and the terms have not been disclosed by either party. 

Symrise highlighted that Floral Concept is renowned for the history of natural fragrance ingredients and its reputation has been built on high standards of quality and authenticity. 

Since its founding in 2002, it has become a company with a great reputation in the search, selection, and transformation of raw materials into high-value fragrance ingredients, in addition to creating them without compromising the quality of its products. 

Michael Friede, President of Scent & Care at Symrise, explained: "With Floral Concept, we contemplate and acquire a high-growth platform aligned with one of Symrise's priorities." 

Frédérique Rémy, General Manager, Floral Concept, added: "We have built Floral Concept around quality, authenticity, and long-term relationships with producers and consumers."
