The Catalan cosmetics, perfumery and fashion giant inaugurates its new corporate headquarters. Last Wednesday, Puig celebrated this event, which was attended by important personalities from the public sphere, including the King and Queen of Spain, who presided over the ceremony. This important milestone for the company coincides with the tenth anniversary of the first Puig Tower.

As it relates ElEconomista, the company's new building will employ around 500 people and will house the company's Operations hub, which will house an Innovation Centre, along with laboratories for the formulation of fragrances, make-up and skincare. It will also house product testing and consumer laboratories, as well as the FabLab, a space where the company's innovative designs will be shaped and where it will be able to bring its products to life. The new facilities total 21,000 square metres on 20 floors.

The inauguration was presided over by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia. The event was also attended by political personalities, such as the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Pere Aragonès, the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, together with the Government Delegate in Catalonia, Carlos Prieto; the Mayor of l'Hospitalet, Núria Marín; and the First Secretary of the PSC, Salvador Illa.

The Catalan company explained that this new tower has been designed with the aim of reducing energy costs during its use, as well as the environmental impact during its construction. The new tower will also have multi-purpose spaces, informal open areas, individual-sized bubble spaces and a silent library that seek to prioritise the "well-being of employees".
