Infarma closes its 2024 edition. The European Congress of Pharmacy and Exhibition of Medicines and Parapharmacy organised by the Pharmaceutical Associations of Madrid and Barcelona (COFB) and CloserStill has celebrated the last edition that has registered a number of visitors over 25,000 per day, 24% more than in the year 2022.

Mauel Martínez de Peral, president of Infarma Madrid 2024 and of the Official College of Pharmacists of Madrid, explained that it was the most crowded edition, with the highest attendance and participation in history.

The event lasted three days and was held at the Ifema Exhibition Centre in Madrid with more than 300 exhibitors in more than 32,000 square metres, with more than 4,000 congress participants and 1,000 brands represented.  During this edition, the gala awards ceremony for the best scientific communications presented at the congress was also held. Within the framework of Infarma, social commitment was witnessed through Infarma Solidario, which held a charity concert to raise 25,450 euros to support a project led by the El Alto Foundation.

The next edition will be held in Barcelona, from 25 to 27 March 2025, continuing the dynamic of alternating between Madrid and the Catalan capital. The event will continue to fulfil its purpose of acting as a meeting point to strengthen collaboration between pharmacists, industry, distribution and service companies in the common goal of strengthening health care and people's quality of life.
