Grupo Carinsa continues on the path of growth. The Catalan company makes a key strategic leap to consolidate its presence in the global market. Grupo Carinsa, specialized in the creation and manufacture of fragrances, flavors, and functional ingredients, is finalizing the launch of four new centers in Sant Quirze del Vallès, a town in Barcelona, after formalizing an investment of 40 million euros.
This ambitious industrial expansion responds to the increase in international demand and will allow the corporation to multiply its global production capacity by thirty once the complex is fully operational.
An industrial hub articulated in four key areas
The expansion project will be developed progressively through four key facilities:
-
Expansión: a plant specially designed for the food sector whose opening is scheduled for next year, allowing a tenfold increase in current capacity for the production of powder solutions.
-
Wow: a highly specialized industrial center dedicated to the production of perfumery and liquid formulations.
-
Carinsa Tech: a technological hub focused on advanced R&D&i and the development of new technologies applied to fragrances and ingredients.
-
Carinsa Headquarters: a complex that will house the group's future corporate headquarters.
These new facilities will join the company's production and innovation network, made up of its current centers (Carinsa, Paymsa, and Carincap), as well as its flagship space Esencia Carinsa, located on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona.
International growth and attraction of specialized talent
The launch of the new hub will be accompanied by a significant increase in staff. The company expects to exceed 300 employees as the different phases are completed, incorporating technical and scientific profiles in areas of research and development (R&D), process engineering, quality control, internationalization, and digitalization.
Financially, Grup Carinsa, which operates commercially in 58 countries, closed the 2025 fiscal year with a turnover of 66 million euros. For this year, the multinational expects to exceed the 70 million euro mark and consolidate its position as a reference technological partner in Europe for the perfumery, cosmetics, and wellness industries.
