As published by the company itself, Martial Lecat and Philippe Combette, who joined SAFIC-ALCAN in June and October 1988 respectively, will step down from the SAFIC-ALCAN Executive Committee on 1 April 2022. Furthermore, in the same announcement, Philippe Combette, the current President of SAFIC-ALCAN, will hand over the presidency of the group to Yann Lissillour. However, Combette will remain on the Supervisory Board.
Under the leadership of Martial Lecat and Philippe Combette, SAFIC-ALCAN, which celebrates its 175th anniversary this year, has undergone a profound transformation, which began in the 1990s with a broad diversification of its distribution markets and an internationalisation of its activities, both through organic and external growth, making SAFIC-ALCAN the only independent French distributor in its market sector with international coverage.
Yann Lissillour who joined SAFIC-ALCAN in 2000 and has held various sales and management positions during his career with the group. He has been in charge of acquisitions since 2016 and was appointed COO last November.

With these changes, the Executive Committee of the company will happen to organise of the following way:
- Yann Lissillour will exert like General Director and Director of Fusions and Acquisitions of the group
- Jean-Michel Guyon will continue like Financial Director
- Philippe Cenreaud is General Director of Performance Products
- José Lora General Director of Life Sciences
- Juliette Gamez Digital Director
