The Symrise Supervisory Board extended the contract of CFO Olaf Klinger ahead of schedule. The decision is based on his extensive knowledge and years of experience. Olaf Klinger will remain at the helm of Symrise's finance division until January 2028 for the time being.
Michael König, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said in a press release that it is important to give longevity and time to projects: "Symrise stands for sustainability and consistency. By prematurely renewing the extension of Olaf Klinger's contract until 2028, we send a signal of continuity while underlining our recognition of his excellent performance. We look forward to continuing to work with Mr. Klinger towards our common goal of continuously expanding Symrise's position as a leading company in the industry."
Olaf Klinger has been responsible for the finance division since January 2016. Since his appointment to the Executive Board, he has supported the company with a number of strategic growth initiatives. These include the accompaniment of numerous acquisitions, such as ADF/IDF in the US, the French fragrance experts Neroli and Romani, the Canadian company Giraffe and the Chinese Wing Pet Food.
