Change in Sephora's digital department. Anca Marola will now occupy the position held by Marc Abegel, according to the information portal specialising in fashion and beauty WWD.

It will not be until February 12 when this move becomes effective and Anca Marola will be Sephora's Digital Director. Marola has spent part of her career within the LVMH group, owner of Sephora. The next head of digital at Sephora joined the LVMH group in 2014 and has led the Business Intelligence department as well as the Client and Customer Experience department.

Guillaume Motte, CEO of Sephora, explained that he expects Marola's presence will help strengthen the digital transformation, accelerate value creation through a data-driven strategy and enhance the omnichannel customer experience.

In selective retail, the LVMH Group experienced organic revenue growth of 26% in the first nine months of 2023. Sephora delivered exceptional results and continued to gain market share, with particularly strong momentum in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Its distribution network continued to expand, particularly in the UK, where a second shop was due to open soon, following the huge success of the first store, which opened earlier in the year.
