Puig is preparing for its IPO. The Catalan group wants to surround itself with great professionals before its IPO.

On the one hand, Puig has signed the former CEO of Bankinter, María Dolores Dancausa on the board of directors of the cosmetics company. Dancausa has been CEO of Bankinter, where she has been for more than 14 years, and at the last shareholders' meeting, María Dolores Dancausa handed over the directorship and the position of CEO to Gloria Ortiz.

On the other hand, Puig has also incorporated the CEO of Weleda AG, Tina Müller. Müller also has experience in the Douglas Perfumery Group, where she held the position of chief executive.

After the incorporation of the two new professionals, the company will dispense with three members of the board who are part of the Puig family. One of them is Marian Puig, who joined the board just three years ago. Jordi Puig and Xavier Puig, cousins of the group's chairman, have also been dismissed. The company has stated that these decisions are also based on a series of recommendations for good governance of listed companies.
