L'Oréal has appointed Gilles Delaunay as the new general manager of its subsidiary in Morocco, while Laila Benjelloun Touimi, until now head of the company, will become president. The appointments, effective from October 1, 2026, mark a new stage in the group's management structure in the Moroccan market.

Delaunay has 27 years of experience at L'Oréal, both in France and in international markets, and more than two decades of experience in the Consumer Products division. Before assuming his new role, he served as Global Commerce Transformation Officer, where he participated in the development and implementation of commercial transformation initiatives for the group. In his new position, he will be responsible for leading L'Oréal's operations in Morocco and continuing the development of its activities in the country.

For her part, Benjelloun Touimi will focus her functions as president on strengthening institutional relations and ties with the different agents in the Moroccan market, in addition to supporting the activities of the L'Oréal Foundation in the country.

Benjelloun Touimi's career has been closely linked to the subsidiary. She joined L'Oréal Morocco in 2000 and held various positions in the marketing area before moving to Paris, where she contributed to the development of L'Oréal Paris in the Africa and Middle East region. In 2014, she returned to Morocco to lead the Consumer Products division and, in 2019, she was appointed general manager. During her tenure, the subsidiary doubled its turnover and increased its market share, consolidating its position in the country's beauty sector.

Currently, L'Oréal Morocco markets 19 international brands through four divisions: Consumer Products, Dermatological Beauty, Professional Products, and L'Oréal Luxe. Its distribution covers supermarkets, pharmacies and parapharmacies, hair salons, perfumeries, and specialized beauty chains.
