Rabanne already has a new creative director. Puig's company has announced that Olivier Rousteing, a renowned French designer, will occupy the position left by Julien Dossena in June, after more than a decade in the role.
Rousteing has experience at Roberto Cavalli, at 25 he became the director of the creative team at Balmain and now, he intends to open a new phase of creative development at Rabanne.
The French designer is expected to present his first collection in November with Rabanne and will debut on the Paris Fashion Week runway in March 2027, according to Fashion Network.
"Joining Rabanne is a great honor," Rousteing explained in a statement announcing his incorporation into the firm. "It is a house that has always challenged conventions, transforming bold ideas into creations that have marked the history of fashion. Its innovative spirit, its artisanal excellence and its uncompromising creativity have inspired generations, and today they also inspire me."
