Lubrizol announces new leadership appointments in Asia Pacific

Lubrizol seeks to strengthen its presence and capabilities in the region and incorporates two key players to achieve this

Lubrizol in its strategy to expand its business area in Asia Pacific. As the company said in a press release, Lubrizol is looking to strengthen its presence and capabilities in the region by investing in local technology development for locals to offer differentiated regional solutions. 

The senior vice president of High Growth Regions explained that this is a key region for Lubrizol's growth: "Continued dynamic market development requires faster decision making and agility in the region."

To drive growth in APAC, Lubrizol has appointed Henry Liu as the company's new vice president for the region. Henry will be responsible for leading Lubrizol's company-wide management team to evaluate and execute strategies to drive differentiated regional growth. This move brings Henry's extensive experience as a leader of business groups in large corporations and will help to strengthen the company's market position and drive profitable growth. 

Ping Zhu, meanwhile, has also been named vice president of Lubrizol's Additives segment and will drive the growth of the company's additives business. Ping has nearly 30 years of experience in technical and commercial roles across Lubrizol's additives business, including R&D, chemical regulatory and product management. 

As the company notes at the end of the release, these appointments continue Lubrizol's commitment to the Asia Pacific region, where the company has operated for 65 years. Lubrizol employees work from offices, manufacturing facilities and technical service centres throughout the region, serving customers in many industries.
