L'Occitane Group chooses to Laurent Marteau like general director

Marteau Will report to André Hoffmann, vice-president and executive director of the group

Laurent Marteau have been appointed Group Managing Director of L'Occitane Group.

The beauty industry veteran (pictured) worked for the LVMH Group for 15 years in various senior management roles globally, before joining The Prairie Group in 2014 ace VP for Global Travel Retail & Special Channels, becoming to board member in the same year.

In 2020, have was made The Prairie's VP for Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa.

At L'Occitane Group, Marteau will report to André Hoffmann, the group's Vice-Chairman and CEO.

With headquarters in Ginebra, Laurent Marteau will depend on André Hoffmann. The director sucede to Yves Blouin, ex specialist of Chanel in the Asian markets, the one who was appointed general director of the group L'Occitane in January of 2021.

In the first quarter of his exercise 2022/23, that finalises on 30 June, L'Occitane registered a turnover of 416 million euros, what supposes an increase of the 15,8 % to constant exchange rates.
