Since last July 1, Guido Kirchhoff is the president of operations in functions in EMEA. Kirchhoff, until then serving as Vice President Supply Chain EMEA, takes over the responsibilities of Hebert Tripp, who after 35 years at KAO Corporation is leaving the company to retire.
Kirchhoff's functions will be to lead and supervise those operations related to accounting, finance, HCD, legal as well as corporate communication. The new president has worked at KAO since 2004, after being in companies such as Procter & Gamble and Wella. He has experience in leading and managing large work teams, and in addition, his participation has been key in different strategies of the company, such as the integration of the Salon KMS brand after its acquisition or the integration of the supply chain of Molton Brown.
Through a press release, Guido expressed his satisfaction at being able to occupy the new position and highly valued the work carried out by Herbert Tripp: "I am very honored to follow Herbert Tripp as president of functions and operations. Herbert's leadership was invaluable to Kao for the last 35 years and specifically to KAO EMEA Consumer Products Business for the last 2 years I am confident that we can respond to the challenges posed by the pandemic and the current economic and political climate with strong strategies and actions to further drive plus the growth of the EMEA region for the KAO issue."
