Evan Lai, general director of FOREO of Western Europe has been chosen vocal member of the managerial board in the last General Assembly of to Cámara de Comercio Hispano-Sueca, an association of caracter private of the which FOREO is member from 3 years ago.
The main aim of this entity is to boost the commercial and cultural relations of Spain and Sweden, and supposes an only platform in the business field of both countries, giving place to a commercial exchange, social and cultural through opportunities of business, exchange of knowledge and a big network of contacts. The Camera has more than 50 years of history and his headquarters is situated in the Spanish capital. It is conformed by more than 200 partners, that devote to different sectors of the economy, between which can find SMEs, multinationals and another type of Swedish and Spanish institutions. The companies represent a 72% of these 200 partners, of which the 70 % are Swedish and the 30% are Spanish, the another 28% is formed by individuals with bilateral interests.
The Swedish multinational FOREO, company leader in technology applied to the beauty, is one of the components of the Camera of Trade Hipano-Swedish from 2019, showing his support of an active way to many of his initiatives and activities. It is thus that, to proposal of his committee of nominations, his general director for Western Europe Evan Lai, has gone in to form part like vocal member of the new managerial board elected does some weeks, that will be chaired by José María Galofré, CEO of Volvo Car Spain.
Evan Lai is graduate in 2005 in Relations internaciones and humanities by the University of Witwatersrand and possesses an extensive experience in management so much in start-ups as in multinationals like Apple. These experiences have carried it to lead teams and innovative businesses. From 2017 it occupies the charge of General Manager of FOREO for Western Europe, and leads the growth of the mark in Spain, Portugal, France and Benelux.
