Zschimmer & Schwarz España announces a new general manager. The chemical solutions provider based in Villarreal has announced that it is in a moment of restructuring management responsibilities to further strengthen efficiency and decision-making capacity at the local level.
This month, Daniel Sardina has taken office in his new position. Previously, he held the position of Director of Financial Accounting and Control. This change is part of an organizational alignment process throughout the group to improve and promote local management, collaboration between business divisions, and ensure sustainable growth in the Spanish market.
He joined the company in 2018 and has successfully taken on broader management responsibilities. With his experience, strategic mindset, and commitment to excellence, he will continue to drive long-term growth.
"It is an honor to take office and continue promoting the projects that have made our company a benchmark in the sector. We have an exceptional team and the confidence of the Zschimmer & Schwarz Group to continue growing responsibly and sustainably," says Daniel Sardina.
Pedro Hernández, former general manager, has decided to change the course of his professional career and has founded his own consulting company. However, he will remain closely linked to Zschimmer & Schwarz España, supporting the commercial management of the Maghreb markets and the leather business in Spain.
Carlos Vivas is the new chairman of the board and succeeds Dr. Christoph Riemer
Another move is that Carlos Vivas, former co-managing director of Zschimmer & Schwarz Spain and current global director of Performance Chemicals, will continue to contribute with an additional role, succeeding Dr. Christoph Riemer, CEO of the Zschimmer Schwarz group, as chairman of the board. Carlos Vivas stands out for his deep knowledge of the group's values and strategy, which is indispensable for growing the Spanish subsidiary. Thus, the new board of directors is made up of Carlos Vivas, as president, Daniel Sardina, who will serve as secretary, and Bastian Rudersdorf, who is a member of the board. The goal is to guarantee the continuity of the fundamental values that have guided the company to this day.
