A new clinical study supports the rejuvenating and youth-preserving potential of Eternalyoung®, a nutraceutical developed by Monteloeder, S.L., a subsidiary of Suannutra.
This beauty-from-within formula is a standardized blend of four botanical extracts: pomegranate (Punica granatum), sweet orange (Citrus sinensis), desert ginseng (Cistanche), and centella asiatica (Centella asiatica). The combination acts synergistically to slow down skin aging and enhance radiance, restoring skin hydration and elasticity.
The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, published last month in the Journal of Dermatology and Cosmetology, included 71 women aged 33 to 66 who presented visible signs of skin aging. Conducted at the Complutense Medical Center in Spain, participants took a 225 mg capsule of Eternalyoung® or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, published last month in the Journal of Dermatology and Cosmetology, included 71 women aged 33 to 66 who presented visible signs of skin aging. The results revealed that Eternalyoung® had a positive impact on multiple key parameters of skin aging. The most significant finding was a 23% reduction in forehead wrinkle volume at 12 weeks. Anti-wrinkle efficacy was assessed using a 3D scanning sensor that measures fine skin surface details. Improvements were visible from week 4 and intensified up to week 12. A reduction in the number of forehead wrinkles was also observed. More than 80% of the female volunteers in the treatment group showed these positive changes; the placebo group remained virtually unchanged.
Fewer wrinkles, more radiance
Eternalyoung® was associated with a 20% improvement in forehead skin radiance. These improvements were more pronounced among participants with greater visible skin deterioration at baseline. Skin pigmentation showed a notable reduction, expressed as a 14% drop in melanin index in the Eternalyoung® group. Participants experienced a visible improvement in skin tone and luminosity on the forehead, upper cheeks, and around the eyes over the 12 weeks.
The study also evaluated skin barrier function. In particular, Eternalyoung® users experienced improved skin moisture retention, especially among those who began the trial with higher levels of transepidermal water loss.

A previous study conducted on human dermal fibroblasts revealed the mechanisms by which Eternalyoung® can help counteract skin aging. Laboratory analyses showed that it can help reduce the accumulation of AGEs (advanced glycation end products) and promote fibroblast activity. This helps to strengthen the skin, increase its firmness, protect cells from oxidative stress, support a balanced melanin process, and contribute to telomere integrity
Telomeres, widely recognized as a crucial biomarker of aging, are DNA sequences that protect chromosomes during cell division. They normally shorten over time, signaling cellular deterioration and aging. This negatively affects the skin's natural regenerative potential, reducing collagen and elastin fibers. Under the microscope, it was observed that Eternalyoung® reduces telomere shortening by activating telomerase.
The Science Behind Eternalyoung®
This study serves as a follow-up to the encouraging results obtained in a clinical trial conducted in 2023. In that study, subjects experienced improvements in various skin conditions, including hydration, reduction of transepidermal water loss, improved elasticity, reduction of crow's feet wrinkles, and increased skin thickness. The current study expands those findings to a different facial region: the forehead, a highly expressive area susceptible to wrinkle formation, even at relatively young ages.
