After the two previous phases –the voting of the distribution jury that took place on March 4 and the microsite with the online voting in which more than a thousand perfume professionals and fans participated from March 11 to April 9– the press jury has met to select the podium of the “top” perfumes of this edition of the awards.

The professional press of beauty and the perfume sector has supported the Perfume Academy for another year with a massive participation of sixty journalists, representatives of the main Spanish media, printed, digital and audiovisual.

They have been responsible for carefully evaluating 78 proposals out of the 233 that have been presented in this edition, 30% more than in 2024. The jury has highlighted the number of novel ingredients present in the proposals presented, as well as sustainability as the maximum in current perfumery and in perfume packaging. In addition, they have thanked the Academy for its work and its content factory as a source to which they frequently turn in their informative work and its variety of cultural activities around perfume.

And the mission of the Perfume Academy Awards is to enrich the culture of perfume in society, disseminating information about the art of each creation: its raw materials, the inspiration and talent of its respective perfumers when it comes to olfactively representing different emotions and illusions, as well as other aspects that complement the proposal and sensoriality of each perfume, such as design and evocative communication campaigns. Different weighted factors are evaluated, such as the smell of the perfume, the innovation it represents and the coherence of the whole.
