Zschimmer & Schwarz group donates 50,000 euros for charity programs

From donations to support social projects venues, until humanitarian aid of emergency for zones in crisis and donations in species for charitable organisations. The group Zschimmer & Schwarz, whose Spanish subsidiary finds in Castellón, thinks to global level and has set up projects to help locally thanks to the proposals of his employees.

Three of them arose from Castellón and one went out forward. Thanks to the proposal of Elena Mezquita, employee in Vila-real, will allocate a donation to Help me 3D, organisation that manufactures hands and prothetic arms printed matter in 3D and supplies them gratuitamente to people with disability of all the world. The economic aid will receive to final of year.

With reason of the 125 anniversary of the group, in 2019 Zschimmer & Schwarz created a charitable program by initiative of the families shareholders. It invited to all the workers of the world to propose local initiatives that the company could support with a donation.

In this 2022, this campaign has gone in in a second round and will repeat each two years from now. In total, summoned to more than 1.500 employees of all the national and international headquarters so that they presented projects in his region that resulted them necessary. Between the projects presented this year, selected seven, which will receive in group a sum of 50.000 euros.

The program set up by the company contributes to diverse fields headed to all the generations. In Germany has been approved the finance of a screw of Archimedes for a childish park of Braubach; the donation so that a residential complex of greater people can buy a desfibrilador in Bendorf; or the enlargement of the natural road protected of the landscape of Muldental and Chemnitztal. Thanks to the initiative of an employee, will loan support to a school laboratory of the University of Coblenza-Landau, whose aim is to excite to boys and young with the natural sciences.

In Italy will support the treatment of boys and disabled youngsters, especially of those pertaining to families with low income, in a centre of rehabilitation of the Italian province of Novara. A residence of elderly and of the third age of Livorno Ferraris, will receive a new kitchen and a canteen.

The social responsibility and the sustainability "form part of the DNA of the familiar company Zschimmer & Schwarz from his foundation", such as they express from the chemical company. Although the charitable campaign supports to regional projects in the headquarters of the company each two years, the group always keeps a global approach to the neediest people.

This year, the families shareholders have donado 50.000 euros in help for emergencies to the German organisation Aktionsbündnis Katastrophenhilfe to help to Ukraine. Besides, they delivered to other charitable organisations donations in species headed to this country by a total of 60.000 euros.

Dietmar Clausen, Financial Director of Zschimmer & Schwarz, explains that put to the people in the first place, the respect and the mutual care for all, has been in the heart of the group from his foundation in 1894. "The success comports responsibility, and the successful companies have a responsibility with the society, something that always will fulfil", affirms Clausen.

The shareholder of Zschimmer & Schwarz Gisela Rochow already looks to the future of the campaign of donations and affirms: "Anybody understands better the situation of our headquarters that our local employees. They provide us an important information so that we can help to the people of direct and simple form".

After the success of the first campaign of donation in 2019, the company decided quickly that it had to repeat at intervals regular. In the year of the first anniversary of the company, selected 14 projects to receive a total support of 200.000 euros. Between them, the project presented by Rosa Carda, employee in Vila-real, thanks to the cual the Association of Esclerodermia of Castellón (ADEC) received 8.000 destined euros to help to the affected by this rare illness.
