The Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) informs of the cessation of commercialization and the withdrawal from the market of all batches of the Men Depil under the shower depilatory cream of the Deliplus brand, after detecting deficiencies that compromise the safety of this cosmetic. The product's safety problem is not related to its composition, but to its mode of use, which enables its use on extensive areas of the body on the same day, which could imply an overexposure to the product and a possible risk for the consumer.

The AEMPS has taken this measure after reviewing the report on the product's safety, within the campaign to control cosmetic safety evaluations that it started in 2025. Likewise, it has informed the health authorities of the autonomous communities about it. For its part, the responsible company Viokox S.A., has ceased the commercialization of this depilatory cream, distributed and marketed by Mercadona, and has withdrawn it from the market.

In order to guarantee safe use, the company has updated the instructions for use and the precautions indicated on the labeling, which has allowed this product to be marketed again with the updated labeling. The products currently for sale already include the following warning for proper use: “Do not depilate more than one large area (chest, back, full arms or legs) on the same day”.
