'Montibello' receives the first AITEX prize for innovation and sustainability in cosmetics

Its 'Éclat' product has been chosen as the best in its category over the 'Babaria' solar gelatin

AITEX, the centre of investigation, innovation and technical services advanced, and with more than 35 years of experience, celebrated the past 24 November the IV edition of the Business Prizes AITEX in the IVAM EACH of Alcoi. To the ceremony assisted more than 200 people, between which found the rewarded, finalists candidates, public personalities and employers.

The aim that pursues AITEX with these awards that promote, recognise and spread the best projects and initiatives of the national companies in the cosmetic and textile terrain.

Montibello, has attained the first prize in the category of sustainability and/or innovation in cosmetic by Éclat, the colouring demipermanent of  acid pH. 'Montibello' shared nomination with the companies 'Babaria', 'Germaine of Capuccini', 'Martiderm' and 'Prosper Biotech'. An expert jury was the attendant to select the winning companies in the respective categories, from among the 15 companies candidates.

The attendant to collect this prize was Álex Corella, R&D Hair Colour Manager of Montibello, that explains that “the prizes have recognised the degree of innovation, sustainability and reduced environmental impact of the products presented. In our case, Éclat is the perfect combination between efficiency and sustainability because it has been echo-designed in all his stages: the formula, the manufacture, the materials used for his packaging and his way of employment by the final consumer have been thought to generate the minimum environmental impact."

By his part, Enric Aliberch, General Director of Cosbar Group, recognises that: "this prize supposes a recognition to the path initiated does some years by our mark in pro of the environment. We are very proud that a so prestigious entity like AITEX have recognised our effort in this sense".

The prize awards to 'Montibello' an economic endowment of €20.000. The second prize in this category was for 'Babaria', by his innovative solar aspic that presented in his line of aspic sun tan and that, therefore, concedes to their a prize of €10.000.
