Joan Pere Jiménez officially assumes the position of CEO of Eurofragance, the multinational fragrance house headquartered in Barcelona, on January 1, 2026. With this succession, the company reaffirms its commitment to internal talent and consolidates its position as a benchmark in the fragrance sector.
Jiménez's appointment marks the beginning of a new era at Eurofragance, which will be guided by a strategic plan focused on three fundamental pillars: Innovation, People, and Clients. This approach will strengthen the company's positioning and accelerate its expansion in key markets.
The succession process, carefully planned since 2023, has unfolded throughout 2025 to ensure a smooth transition and the continuity of the company's strategic vision. Laurent Mercier, who has led Eurofragance since 2018, will remain connected to the company on the Board of Directors.
Global Experience and Strategic Vision to Lead Eurofragance
Jiménez has over ten years of experience at Eurofragance, where he has successfully held various positions of responsibility on the Management Committee. He joined as Chief Operations Officer, driving operational efficiency and global industrial development. Subsequently, he led the company's expansion first in Europe, Africa, and Turkey, and then in Asia-Pacific, achieving notable growth in strategic markets. From January 2024 until the end of 2025, he held the position of Chief Market Officer, leading all global markets.
“Taking on the position of CEO of Eurofragance is a great responsibility and, at the same time, an opportunity to continue building on everything we have achieved in recent years. My priority is to strengthen our position as a global leader, reinforce our regions, and grow in the most strategic markets for the company,” states Joan Pere Jiménez.
Jiménez's three-pillar plan is designed to respond to the sector's challenges and the real-time needs of clients, employees, and partners in different markets. This plan includes expanding the company's global presence with new factories and creative centers to be closer to clients, as well as an ambitious transformation plan to accelerate digitalization and the tactical use of AI tools that enhance Eurofragance's agility, innovation capacity, and customer proximity.
A planned transition aligned with the company's strategy
The members of the founding family and owners of the company, the Board of Directors, and the current management team have welcomed the appointment of Joan Pere Jiménez. They are confident that he will continue to drive the organization's values, while developing new strategic priorities and ensuring future growth.
