The Neptuno Palace in Madrid hosted this June 17 the first edition of the Aesthetic Technology Awards, a pioneering initiative promoted by the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (Fenin) in collaboration with Estetic.es, a publication of the Mediforum Group. The gala brought together numerous leaders from the medical-aesthetic sector with the purpose of recognizing the impact of technological innovation on the evolution of aesthetic medicine, establishing itself from its first edition as a key event for the industry.

In this context, the organizing committee awarded the prize in the Innovative Device category to FOREO for its revolutionary FAQ™ 202 facial LED mask, highlighting its contribution to the advancement of technological self-care from home. "An acknowledgment that values innovation, in a category defined precisely by technology; pillars that are part of FOREO's DNA," said Sara Riballo, FOREO's Communications & PR Manager, who accepted the award on behalf of the brand.

The jury especially valued the disruptive potential of the device, which has raised the standard of home facial treatments by transferring therapeutic solutions previously reserved for the clinical setting. The FAQ™ 202 facial LED mask combines LED light technology with near-infrared (NIR) technology and has been designed to improve skin quality. Made with ultra-hygienic Flexi-Fit™ silicone, this innovative mask adapts perfectly to all types of faces, is quick-drying and very easy to clean. Its lightweight design and wireless connectivity make it the ideal device to use anywhere and without interrupting the daily routine.

The FAQ™ 202 facial LED mask has 8 LED wavelengths, including NIR (near-infrared) light, which penetrates the deepest layers of the skin to treat it from the inside. Its 600 light points guarantee uniform and effective coverage throughout the face.

Among the key benefits of its LED technology are the three main lights, among the 8 it contains:

  • Red light: stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, helping to combat the signs of aging.
  • Blue light: combats acne, reduces visible imperfections and prevents future breakouts.
  • Green light: unifies the tone of the skin and provides natural luminosity.

With these technologies, the FAQ™ 202 facial LED mask is positioned as a cutting-edge device in facial care, offering clinical results at home with the support of science and FOREO's Swedish design.
