The essential event for professionals in the cosmetic industry celebrates its ninth edition with very positive initial participation figures and a significant new location. This year, COSMETORIUM moves to La Farga de L'Hospitalet in Barcelona, a new location that will allow us to offer the largest edition held to date, with 7,500 m² of exhibition space, 15 % more than in the previous edition.
The new location, completely open and distributed on a single level, will integrate the conference rooms in the same exhibition space, which to date has the confirmed participation of more than 140 exhibiting companies. COSMETORIUM 2025 will present a wide range of innovative solutions, raw materials and services covering all areas of cosmetic development. In addition, it will feature a top-level training program.
The program includes 14 practical WorkShop sessions and 42 TechFocus presentations focused on ingredients, advanced formulation and new technologies in the sector.
The scientific program, designed by the Spanish Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SEQC), will offer ten sessions addressing the main challenges of the industry. Prominent speakers include Josep M. Ganyanet, specialist in artificial intelligence; Dr. Manel Esteller, who will talk about epigenetics and aging; and neuroeducation expert David Bueno.
The scientific conferences will explore topics such as sustainability in the industry, packaging challenges, new generation UV filters, communication and marketing of cosmetic brands, and the latest regulatory updates. Another key point of the fair will be the Innovatorium, an exclusive space dedicated to innovation, where 24 companies will showcase their latest proposals and the most cutting-edge ingredients.
In addition, COSMETORIUM will host the eighth edition of the Cosmetorium Awards, whose theme in 2025 will be "Inclusivity and personalization". The awards will recognize the development of formulas adapted to specific needs, such as skin conditions, age, gender, body or identity. The finalist products will be exhibited in a special area of the venue.
