Vecta Partners has made public its investment in the Sevillian dermo-cosmetic company Lico Cosmetics. Lico Cosmetics was founded in 2019 by Estefanía Ferrer and Juan Sabaté.
The investment fund has acquired 60% of the company, according to specialized media, and the operation aims to internationalize the company and triple its sales. Previously, Lico had been owned by the BeWater fund and, as elEconomista.es shared, was actively looking for a buyer to make a change in shareholding. The remaining percentage will remain in the hands of the same founders.
Lico Cosmetics has a sales volume of more than eight million euros (in 2024 results) and a gross operating profit that orbits between five and six million euros. In 2025, Lico Cosmetics planned to reach new markets, such as Portugal, and reach 16 million euros, although finally, it stayed close to 15 million.
During the first years of Lico Cosmetics' life, it had the support of Lanzadera, the platform of Mercadona businessman, Juan Roig, and later, it also had the shareholding backing of the Bewater fund, which entered with a stake of close to 15% after injecting one million euros in 2020.
