Demetra Pinsent, CEO of Charlotte Tilbury for more than fourteen years, is leaving her position. This was reported by the specialized media The Business of Fashion a few hours ago.

The news has been announced to the company's workers last Wednesday, just as some of the workers have confirmed to the outlet.

In a statement to BoF, a spokesperson for the makeup firm has explained that Pinsent "has decided to leave l business in search of new opportunities." Her last day at the company is today, February 26. Meanwhile, the company continues to search for who will succeed Demetra Pinsent and meanwhile, founder Tilbury will continue to lead the brand "creatively and commercially" in her capacity as chairman and creative director.

Demetra Pinsent joined the company in 2012 and helped translate the founder's vision to turn it into a billion-dollar brand within the beauty business. During her tenure, Pinsent was part of the agreement between the Catalan Puig, through which it has acquired a majority stake and which will be fully absorbed by Puig in 2030.
