Leadership change at ISDIN's presidency. Marian Puig has stepped down as president of the dermatological products company after holding the position for a decade and having been with ISDIN for over a quarter of a century. The executive explained that this decision is due to it being time to focus on managing his assets and retiring from the company's front line.

Marian Puig joined Puig 25 years ago, in 2002, the year he was appointed CEO. In 2015, he took over as chairman of the company, and now, 10 years later, he becomes honorary chairman. Marian Puig has also, as reported by Modaes, resigned from his position on the boards of IQS and Esade university institutions.

The company wanted to thank Puig for her work and commitment: "After almost 25 years leading ISDIN and its internationalization process, Marian Puig is ending her career at the dermatological laboratory. Marian has built a successful business project, whose legacy goes far beyond economic figures. She has created an organization based on talent, commitment, and where the values of a family business permeate the entire corporate culture, making ISDIN a unique place."

ISDIN is present in more than 60 countries and 70% of its sales are international. The company is 50% owned by Puig Brands and the other 50% is owned by the pharmaceutical company Esteve. Last year, ISDIN recorded sales of 642 million euros, up 13%, with no structural debt and a profit of 66 million euros.

From now on, ISDIN faces a transition process to appoint its new president. Juan Naya continues as CEO with a firm management team, unchanged and with a set objective: to reach 1 billion euros in sales and drive ISDIN's growth.
