Givaudan breaks its own molds. The Swiss group specializing in flavors and fragrances has recently published its results for the first nine months of 2026.

The company has stated that from January to September, the profit rate has increased by 2.6%, which represents more than 6.30 billion euros. Initially, analysts were handling a figure lower than what was finally registered, which stood at 6 billion euros.

Excluding current effects and its acquisitions, sales in perfumery have grown by around 8.8%. This growth has been especially driven by fine fragrances, which have increased by more than 15% compared to the same period last year, and functional fragrances, an area that includes fragrances for home care, personal care, and other products related to home cleaning and care. In the case of functional fragrance, it has increased by more than 9.3%.

In the era of the new presidency under the mandate of Christian Stammkoetter, he explained that "we are pleased to announce this acceleration in growth, which has been thanks to a solid performance in the fragrance and beauty sector and a gradual improvement in the flavors and well-being sector."

To mitigate the increase in the cost of raw materials, the group has implemented a price increase, as reported in the press release. Despite this "unexpected" increase by analysts, Givaudan maintains a growth target of between 4% and 6% from now until 2030.

In June, the company made official its strengthening in the fragrance sector following its investment in the Catalan company Eurofragance.
