The Australian professional hair care brand Kevin.Murphy has announced the appointment of Elisa Fischer as its new global CEO. The company's main objective with this incorporation is to accelerate its growth and intensify its presence in international markets.

Fischer assumes the direction of the group's global operations in the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and Asia-Pacific regions. Among her strategic priorities will be strengthening alliances with distributors and constant support for the network of beauty salons, a fundamental pillar of the brand.

Before joining Kevin.Murphy, Fischer served as Senior Vice President of R+Color and General Manager of IGK within Luxury Brand Partners. In her new role, she succeeds Steven Leighton, a board member who was serving as interim CEO.

Founded in Melbourne in 2004, Kevin.Murphy now has a commercial presence in 60 countries. Its priority distribution channel is professional salons, although it also sells its products in department stores and selected retailers such as Selfridges (United Kingdom) and Nose Paris (France). With this move, the company seeks to primarily strengthen its market share in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the Scandinavian countries.
