Judit Camargo Sanromá, CEO and founder of Roka Furadada, takes over from Óscar Expósito and is the new president of the Spanish Association of Cosmetic Ingredients (AEIC). Judit assumed the position during the AEIC Breakfast for member and invited companies, on March 3, 2026, in Barcelona.
This appointment coincides with a stage of development for the AEIC and represents another step in the presence of women in the governing bodies of the association and of the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients (EFfCI). Likewise, Judit will internationally represent Spain within the European federation.
Judit Camargo has a long professional history in the corporate world, both in business and administration areas, as well as in scientific-technical areas, with pharmaceutical and cosmetic ingredient companies, as founder and CEO of Roka Furadada.
In addition, she has just received third place in the European Awards for Innovative Women 2026, during the European Innovation Council (EIC) Summit 2026 held on June 4, 2026, in Brussels, and managed together with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
This award is for her work in the development of innovative and environmentally friendly cosmetic ingredients that improve protection against UV rays and contribute to reducing the incidence of skin diseases, while minimizing negative effects on marine ecosystems.
She is also a member of associations such as Beauty Cluster and AEFI (Spanish association of pharmaceutical industry professionals) and an active member of 50&50 association of women leaders and an activist for climate justice.
