The Catalan perfume group Puig has announced the creation of a new position: Deputy CEO and José Manuel Albesa has been chosen to take possession of it. The Deputy CEO will be in charge of all the group's divisions and whose objective is to reinforce the development of the company's vision and strategy in all its business areas.
Albesa will report directly to Marc Puig, President and CEO of Puig. Jose Manuel Albesa will combine this new position with that of President of Beauty and Fashion. Marc Puig has explained that Albesa is the ideal person to occupy this new position: "I am looking forward to advancing in this new phase of Puig's development thanks to our solid relationship of trust. I remain firmly committed to my role as President and CEO and, together, we will ensure that Puig faces the future in a position of maximum strength."
Albesa has been part of Puig for more than 27 years and has played a key role in the company's international expansion, as well as in the strategic direction of its Fragrance and Fashion portfolio.
