Jonathan Simon is the new president of Fine Fragrance at Dsm-firmenich

Jonathan Simon has taken office this week and dsm-firmenich is setting out a roadmap for the handover to take place until July 1, 2026

dsm-firmenich replaces Jerry Vittoria in the Fine Fragrance category. Jonathan Simon took office on July 1 and succeeds Jerry Vittoria who will retire from the company on July 1, 2026, after 35 years. 

Vittoria is recognized by the company for his leadership and impact within the organization and in the fragrance industry. The transfer of responsibilities between Vittoria and Simon will take place throughout the year and will be structured and agreed upon in a transition plan.

"Jonathan will drive our high-end fragrance business into a new era, consolidate our leadership and continue our transformation driven by innovation and sustainability. His great sense of luxury, his passion for the product and his obsession with our customers will really make a difference". 

Jonathan Simon has experience in P&G Global Beauty Care. Since 2024, he has positioned himself as a leader with numerous contributions to the company. He worked closely with renowned fine fragrance perfumers, creating inspiring luxury narratives through fragrance storytelling. He later moved to the L'Oréal Paris brand, where he worked in all product categories, developing a broader and more holistic view of the beauty market.
