Henkel has chosen Christoph Kaul as CEO of Olaplex, succeeding Amanda Baldwing after Olaplex was acquired by the company last year for $1.4 billion.
Christoph Kail has been with Henkel for over 13 years and most recently served as Regional Head of Strategy and Transformation for the professional business area in the United States. Previously, he served as General Manager of Kenra Professional and held roles at L'Oréal before joining Henkel.
This appointment brings Henkel professional hair care experience as Kaul leads Olaplex, while maintaining a focus on product innovation and the professional salon channel.
