The Beauty Cluster announces the incorporation of Adrià Martinez as the new General Manager of the entity, after an open and transparent selection process in which members of the Board of Directors and Joan Martí, executive director of Business Strategy at ACCIÓ, participated.

Adrià Martinez has solid experience in cluster management, internationalization and strategic development of business associations. Since 2019 he has served as Strategic Project Manager of the Beauty Cluster, promoting innovation projects, sector revitalization and support for SMEs. In addition, he is part of the Global Cosmetics Cluster, the international reference network in the beauty industry. Previously, he held management and management responsibilities in clusters of home automation, smart cities and technological innovation, and was a cluster revitalization technician at ACCIÓ.

In his first statements, Adrià stressed that his initial priority will be to listen and generate trust:

I will dedicate the first months to talking with partners, team and collaborators to identify challenges and expectations. With a shared vision we will be able to design a solid roadmap. At the same time, I want to reinforce the internal efficiency of the cluster to ensure that each activity provides tangible value to our associated companies”.

Regarding the strategic objectives, he highlighted three lines of work: consolidate the Beauty Cluster as a reference platform in innovation, sustainability and internationalization; anticipate regulatory, technological and consumer changes to offer quality information and training; and strengthen the global competitiveness of the Spanish beauty industry, with special focus on SMEs.

Our purpose must be to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of the entire beauty ecosystem. We want to accompany companies of different sizes in their transformation, promote responsible innovation and act as an engine of collective growth”, he added.

With this appointment, the Beauty Cluster reinforces its management team to continue advancing in its mission of connecting, promoting and inspiring the beauty ecosystem, consolidating Barcelona and Spain as international references in the sector.
